The journey to Kang Yatse II takes trekkers through the enchanting trails of the Markha Valley, one of the most scenic and culturally rich trekking routes in Ladakh. The trail passes through picturesque villages, ancient monasteries, white stupas, Mani walls engraved with Buddhist prayers, ruined forts, and charming tea houses where travelers experience the warm hospitality of the locals. As the trek progresses, the valley opens into the vast meadows of Nimaling, one of the most beautiful high-altitude camping grounds in Ladakh. From here, the route ascends toward the base camp of Kang Yatse II through rugged Himalayan terrain and dramatic mountain landscapes. The summit climb is both challenging and rewarding. Standing atop Kang Yatse II offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mighty Zanskar Range, the Karakoram mountains, and the snow-covered peaks surrounding Ladakh.
