The Quiet Room

The mind observing itself, silently. Most people discover, its far more challenging than they expect!A simple weekly gathering to sit in silence together. We begin with a short introduction, followed by 20 minutes of silent meditation/self observation. No rituals, chants, or prior experience needed. Just sit comfortably, observe your thoughts, emotions, impulses, restlessness, body and breath, and notice what comes up. Think of applying the scientific method to your mind. You'll be surprised what you learn! And this is the truth. Your truth. After the sit, we spend a few minutes sharing observations, thoughts, or experiences as a group. No pressure to speak. This is not a class or a spiritual discourse. It’s an open, neutral space for quiet attention, reflection, and human connection.Format:• 5 min intro• 20 min silent sitting• 20-30 min open discussionWho is this for?Anyone curious about meditation, mindfulness, attention, or simply taking a pause from the noise of daily life.Preparation required: Courage, honesty, showing up and a beginner mindset 😀Please arrive on time so we can begin together.
